Hey Fletch!
The film I have chosen as my favourite British film is My Fair Lady, the musical adaption of the famous play Pygmalion by the great George Bernard Shaw.
I think that i have a very valid argument as to why this should be reguarded as a British film, because:
the three protagonists are British actors,
the main theme of the film is about how, in Britain, class is determined via the clarity of speech, dialect, accent, etc.
the source material is British (George Bernard Shaw is British)
the film is set in Britain
the film is all about British class, morality, values, society,
Many people have their own views and opinions on Andrews vs. Hepburn debate, but i honestly have no opinion on this matter and i am very open to any comments
