    East is east Neutral

This is a film from 1999
It had a budget of £1.9million.
    The film grossed over £10million.
It made over £12million in DVD sales.
    Its genre is Comedy-Drama
It is set in a British household of mixed-ethnicity, with a Pakistani father and an English mother in Salford, Manchester, 1971. Om Puri's character George Khan, the father, expects his family to follow his strict Pakistani ways. His children born and raised in Britain increasingly see themselves as British and reject their father's rules on dress, food, religion, and living in general.

East Is East is based on the play of the same name by Ayub Khan-Din. It was directed by Damien O'Donnell.

Good start - you've done the basic research bit and found some interesting things but I want to know why you like this film, what it does for you, and then to talk in more detail about the critical reception it had.

And here we have an example of borderline but acceptable abuse on the grounds that my comment was probably asking for it. But don't do it again.
